# Assets

The stock artwork a mock-up needs before it looks real: brand marks, country flags, emoji, store badges and placeholder company logos, all of them components, so one swap reaches every screen. Use them to make a screen look finished, then replace the third party marks before you ship.

## What assets ship in the file?

Six families: the Appetite UI logo, brand marks, country flags, emoji, store badges and Company Logo. Every one is a component, so a swap reaches every screen that uses it at once.

The Assets page of the file holds 1,111 components in all: the logo set, 205 loose brand marks, and the four sets of flags, emoji, store badges and Company Logo. Together they make five component sets and the loose brand marks. Brand marks are standalone components, so they do not count as variants.

## Which brand marks are in the file?

205 marks of apps and services people actually use, in 14 groups. They are glyphs only, with no wordmarks, so they stay readable at icon size.

Every mark is one component of 32 by 32, so a swap with the instance menu keeps the layout.

## What are the Company Logo placeholders for?

Company Logo is a set of twelve invented companies for mock-ups that need a plausible customer, employer or app behind a screen. Each company comes as a symbol or a lockup, in color or mono.

Company Logo, Type Symbol and Lockup, Style Color and Mono.

Mono follows the Color Tokens mode: its fills read `fg/strong-950`, #0E0E0F in Light and #FFFFFF in Dark, so one component serves both modes. The Dynamic Island and Finance screens use the set for the apps and companies they show.

## Who owns the marks, and what do I replace?

You replace every third party mark before you ship. The Appetite UI logo and the Company Logo placeholders are ours, and everything else belongs to its owner.

Every third party mark in the file carries the same component description: marks are owned by their respective companies, they must not be recolored or redrawn, and you check the provider's brand guidelines before you ship. Use them to populate a realistic mock-up, then replace them.

The twelve Company Logo placeholders are invented companies, not third party marks. Country flags, emoji and store badges follow the third party rule.
