# A Figma UI kit you can brief Figma Make with.

Appetite UI works with Figma Make by attachment: the Core Skill file, SKILL.md, and tokens.md go into the chat, and Figma Make reads them as written instructions.

## What the file gives

- The Core Skill as one Markdown file. SKILL.md names the layers, the naming logic and the rules of the system. It is plain Markdown, so a chat can take it as an attachment.
- tokens.md beside it. The token names and values, in a form a model reads, so a prompt can refer to brand/base instead of a hex.

## How to wire it up

1. Open the Core Skill in the file you buy. SKILL.md and tokens.md come with the purchase.
2. Attach both to the Figma Make chat. No plugin and no setup call.
3. Ask for the screen. Name the screen and the platform, and ask for semantic tokens only.
4. Optional: use Make’s guidelines folder. Figma Make creates a Guidelines.md in each project and accepts uploaded Markdown files in its guidelines folder, which it applies to existing designs and later iterations.

## What to check

- A briefing, not a connection. Attaching the files tells Figma Make which names to use. It does not connect Make to the Figma file or its variables.
- Guidelines are Figma’s feature. Uploading Markdown to the guidelines folder is documented by Figma for any file. It has not been shown here with the Core Skill, so treat the chat attachment as the kit’s route.
- Keep the guidelines short and consistent. Figma advises that more context is not always better, and to check uploaded files for conflicting information.
- Plans. Figma lists guidelines for Full seats on paid plans. Check the current terms with Figma.
