How to read it
From a frame to a store file.
Draw in points or dp, export in pixels.
An iPhone frame in points exported at 3x gives the pixel size the store asks for. Check the export panel says 3x before you upload.
Flatten the file.
Figma writes every PNG with an alpha channel, and both stores refuse one on screenshots. Set the frame’s corner radius to 0 and flatten the export.
A row marked arithmetic is not the store’s number.
Where a store prints pixels only, the frame is the pixels divided by the scale, and the row says so. The pixels are always the store’s.
FAQ
Questions about app Store and Google Play screenshot sizes.
Apple names the Dynamic Island medium display as the required group: 1206 × 2622 pixels or 1179 × 2556 pixels, which are 402 × 874 and 393 × 852 points at 3x. Larger iPhones are scaled from it unless you upload their own set.
Figma writes every PNG with an alpha channel, and Apple’s page says images can’t include alpha channels or transparencies. Set the frame’s corner radius to 0 and flatten the file before you upload it.
Each side is 320 to 3840 pixels and the long side is at most twice the short side, as JPEG or 24-bit PNG without alpha. For recommendations Google asks for four or more at 1080 × 1920 portrait or 1920 × 1080 landscape.
