Settings screens
Grouped rows, switches and the odd field, drawn in Appetite UI, a Figma UI kit for iOS and Android apps built like a design system. A settings screen is the one place where the iOS and Material numbers differ on almost every row.

Screens
Every screen of the Appetite UI Figma file that shows the pattern, light and dark. The theme switch shows the dark frames.

| App | Screen | What it shows | Page |
|---|---|---|---|
| Settings | Menu | Nine rows in three groups, Profile, App and Integrations, the last one cut off at the bottom edge | Docs |
| Settings | Selection | The Preferences list: values, four switches and two links to help | Docs |
| Settings | Account setup | A photo, three fields and a Change password button | Docs |
| Finance app | Card settings | The card and the switches and limit that control it | Docs |
Which components carry the settings pattern?
Drawn live from the kit's tokens, at the kit's geometry. Tap them: they behave as the Figma prototype does.

What does every settings screen do?
The rules the screens above share. Each app's page says how its screen applies them.
| Rule | Why |
|---|---|
| Group, then label the group | Rows sit in groups under a short heading. A long flat list makes people read every row to find one. |
| A switch acts at once | A Toggle inside a List row changes the setting the moment it moves. A row that needs a confirm button uses a value and a chevron instead. |
| Rows take the platform’s height | The List row reads its minimum height from the Platform collection, so one frame is right on both systems. |
What changes between iOS and Material?
The frames are drawn in the ios-md Platform mode. Switch a frame to android and these variables take the Material values.
| Variable | iOS (ios-md) | Android |
|---|---|---|
platform/list-row/min-height | 44 | 56 |
platform/switch/track-width | 64 | 52 |
platform/switch/track-height | 28 | 32 |
platform/bar/top-height | 44 | 64 |
| Component | iOS | Material 3 | What differs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Toggle | iOS / Toggle, 64 × 28 | M3 / Switch, 52 × 32 | Material has a 24 thumb inside the track, iOS has a 38 × 24 knob that becomes a glass lens when pressed |
| List | iOS / List with a 44 minimum row | M3 / List Item, 56, 72 or 88 high by Lines | Material sets the row height by lines of text, iOS sets only a minimum |
| Top bar | iOS / Toolbar on a 44 high top bar | M3 / Top app bar, Small 64 high, Medium 112, Large 152 | Material has four bar types: Small, Center-aligned, Medium and Large |
Start from these screens.
Every frame on this page is part of the Appetite UI file, drawn from its components and bound to its variables, so one brand edit moves every screen in light and dark.
The file holds 589 variables in 6 collections and exports its token values to SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Flutter and CSS. Solo covers one designer and Team up to ten people. You pay once and keep lifetime updates. Price goes up Nov 1
The read-only Figma preview opens the whole file, every screen and every variable, before you buy.
